A downloadable game

After a couple of years of development, I've finally published my latest horror game on Steam. So let's give this demo thing a shot...

Compelled by a mysterious note, you step into the grand mansion. As you explore its dark corridors, you must solve cryptic puzzles, confront the residents, and uncover your purpose.

SOMNIFUGE is a first-person indie horror game that blends exploration, puzzle-solving and psychological horror. Drawing inspiration from the eerie atmospheres of Silent Hill and Alone in the Dark—as well as the many indie horror games they influenced—SOMNIFUGE calls back to PSX-era horror with its retro visuals.

The following demo is a short introduction to the world of the game and its monsters. The full version of the game releases on Steam the 14th of February:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2957970/SOMNIFUGE/

I’d really appreciate any feedback, whether you spot bugs or have other comments.

This game looks amazing! I would like to get in touch to discuss a potential collaboration. My discord user is: antonella0

This is super cool! I am excited to stream the full game! I did realise when I was finding thumbnails, there was tapes and stuff I did miss out! But i hope to show them in the full release! This game also did mess with my mind a bit, very trippy!

I am excited for the full game now!

This demo was very enjoyable! Can’t wait to explore the rest of the story and solve some more puzzles!

Hello Donitz! Really like the style of your games looks very interesting! I'd love to collaborate with you. I can cover all your sound needs from music to SFX, let me know if you are interested. Good luck! :)

Donitz, I remember you.

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. It reminds me of the atmosphere in Among Ashes but with the gameplay of The Tartarus Key (two of my faves)

Is the demo part of the main game or seperate? I stopped because I don’t want to spoil it

Here's a game with a real 32-bit atmosphere that's worth trying out. The puzzles are good and the plot seems intriguing. Congratulations.

If you're into well made and thought provoking puzzles oriented around the bizarre, this game is for you. This demo had twists and turns I never expected and I can't wait to play the full game to piece together the story.

I  played  your game (as well as a couple others) and left in depth feedback on it in my video below. You can also vote for your game in my channels tournament for best indie horror game of february over on my channels community page. I'll be 3D printing a monster or scene from the winning game to give to the game dev.

Great demo, loved it!!

For being a demo, this was pretty dang solid! Cannot wait to see what the full game will have in store. Made a video on it.

The game is really well made and manages to convey the horror atmosphere of the 32-bit era with mastery. Congratulations!
